[column width=”2/3″ position=”first” ][heading]Brief History[/heading]

kagSince a very young age, Beatrice has had a love for cooking that was first inspired by a visit to a hotel buffet table. Now, more than thirty years later, she is a pastry chef, a trained sugar crafter and the director of Sweet Inspirations.

A graduate of Kenya Institute of Management, Beatrice began her career in business management in 2000. Her love for baking continued, and she often treated her colleagues to freshly baked goodies.

Beatrice studied under Chef Eammon Mullan at the Nofolk hotel where she specialized in pastry work. She completed her apprenticeship in 1996.

In June 2010, Beatrice left formal employment at ‘Homeless Children International’ to pursue her dream-Baking and cake decorating. Sweet Inspirations has been featured in The nation Newspaper, The standard Newspaper, K24 ( Kazi ni Kazi) and the True Love Magazine.

Greatest Achievement so far has been to make the Celebration cake for the New Republic of South Sudan in 2010 as it was declared an independent state. Since then, Sweet Inspirations has grown from a one person operation to an operation staffed with several talented cake decorators and bakers.

I wish to thank you most sincerely for your professional input to my wedding cake on 12/12/12 at Ol Arabel. We were amazed at how lovely the cake turned out and it was so tasty and sufficient for everyone. The wedding was a resounding success and you contributed significantly to it. Many thanks and I’ll definitely work with you again for any future events.”

The cakes you baked were such a delight at our wedding. They looked good and tasted even better. Your cakes journeyed to and were talked about in Nakuru and Bondo and we would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for cake. Granted we faced a few challenges on the day regarding cake cutting, but nothing that ruined the day. We are still eating our carrot cake from the freezer. It was a pleasure to work with you. May God richly bless you and your business. Sweet inspirations indeed.
